Fen
I live in a fen in North Cambridgeshire. It's a landscape not appreciated by many, but I love it. Like many fine things in takes time and exposure to begin to appreciate those distant horizons and receding perspectives under huge skies. John Betjeman described it as a land of "three-quarters sky"Holme Fen Engine Drain - winter dawnHaystack, Bassenhally MoorNovemberA winter afternoon on Thorney Dyke
